Nature & The Human Soul – Bill Plotkin
This is the most beautiful and intimate description of our life stages, linked to the cycles of nature.  Feels like home to me.

Women who Run with Wolves – Clarissa Pinkola Estes
The wild woman is in all of us and she’s a hungry wolf, always seeking satiation for the soul.  This is a collection of myths and stories that will rest in your body and heart like a story read to you as a child. It tells stories of resurrection, longing, love, union, coming home, nourishment, sexuality, emotions and healing. For woman and men.

Sustainable Wellness – Matt Mumber & Heather Reed
I believe our bodies are a microcosm of the universe.  The same sicknesses in the world are reflected in us.  If we can identify and heal these, we can change the world. This book addresses some of the work we need to do to begin this healing; creating a pro-active, rather that reactive approach to our health, starting with our internal well being.

The Power of Now – Eckhart Tolle
Revolutionary. If you put the concepts in this book into practice, fredom and peace are yours, and nothing can take them away. If you do nothing else to save the world, this is enough.

Ishmael – Daniel Quinn
A book that everyone should read.  Not the best narrative but philosophies that will free you from a power that was never yours to begin with.

Eating Animals – Jonathan Safran Foer
This book is about more than just the choice to eat meat, it gets to the core of human disconnectedness and shame.  MUST read.

A Fine Balance – Rohinton Mistry
A beautiful but haunting book that will change your heart forever.  If you think you’ve been given a hard lot in life, read this.
